restylaneDiminish the Lines on Your Face

Restylane offered by Dr. Howard is a natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores fullness to the skin. You may be a candidate for Restylane if you have wrinkles on your face or around your lips that you want to diminish. Restylane can also be used if you desire to have fuller or more defined lips, or if you have deep nasolabial folds (the lines between the nose and the corner of your mouth). Restylane can smooth out, fill in, and decrease wrinkles. It is also intended to plump lips and define the edges of lips. Restylane may also be used to fill in and reduce the depth of the nasolabial fold, or fill in depressed acne scars.

Dr. Howard was more understanding and sincere, than other doctors. I didn’t feel like ‘just another person’. Very comforting. by A.B.

Restylane can be done in our office by appointment. An injection or numbing cream may be used to help with discomfort. Restylane contains hyaluronic acid in the form of a crystal clear gel injected into the skin to lift the lip, wrinkle or fold. Once in the skin, Restylane works together with the skin’s water content to join forces and create volume.

Natural Results

Restylane lasts twice as long as collagen, so treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Evidence shows that having a touch-up treatment before the product has fully dissipated will enhance the lasting effect. Although there is minimal to no post-procedural pain, there can be swelling and bruising, especially around the mouth. Patients generally choose not to return to work on the day of treatment.

The specific risks and the suitability of the non-surgical procedures described here for a given individual can be determined only at the time of consultation.
