What kind of anesthesia will I have during my surgery?

Many patients are very worried about waking up or feeling pain during surgery. We want to reassure you that our team has your utmost safety and care in mind. The anesthetic used in our office is a form of conscious sedation, delivered through an IV. You will be asleep and feel no pain during your procedure, but continue to breathe on your own. This type of anesthesia is commonly used during outpatient procedures. Everyone receives anti-nausea treatment. Most patients are ready to return home within an hour after surgery.
